Artificial Dura Substitute for spine

As a physical barrier placed on the exposed parts of operation after laminectomy, the artificial dura is for separating from external muscle, ligament and spinal column, and for avoiding the nerve root adhesion, for preventing from complications caused by adhesion; the material is polytetrafluoroethylene(e-PTFE), One side is smooth surface, the other side is pattern surface.

clinical applicability

laminectomy is commonly performed in the traditional operation treatment of prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc, The postoperative average failure rate is 15%. Fiber adhesion of the epidural space lead to recurrent symptoms after lumbar operation. It is clinically applied in surgical operation for posterior spine.

Excellent biological compatibility, Permanent isolation of non-adhesion

● e-PTFE material 10 millions cases of clinical implantation in recent 60 years.

● Widely used in cardiovascular and soft tissue reconstruction, and maintaining long-term stability in the physical structure.

● To preventing the adhesion caused by the fibrous and scar tissue after biodegradable artificial materials.

● Avoid the Fluid anti-adhesion materials which is easy flow, easy dilution, easy absorption.

Double design, realization of different clinical needs

Smooth face with porosity smaller than 5 microns, and the relative to dura of spine, avoiding the cell adhesion and tissue ingrowth, allowing movement of dura and nerve root.

A porous structure surface with porosity of 20-40 microns, allowing the fibers tissue ingrowth, maintaining interior position stable and averting interior removal.
